How to Treat Colds with ESSENTIAL OILS

It is found that cold and flu causing viruses usually thrive in cold and dry atmosphere. Your nasal passages dry out in low humidity. Moistening the nasal passages with use of a humidifier or Essential Oil diffuser kills two birds with one stone.

Lime – Limes, like lemons, are full of antioxidants and other beneficial nutrients. It helps to fight and protect against viral infections which may cause the common cold. Additionally, lime is an antiseptic, meaning it can cure infections and protect against their development.

Using Essential Oils in a diffuser or an aroma lamp is the most effective way of keeping those colds away. It not only moistens the surrounding air but also helps make it germ free. 5 to 8 drops in a diffuser will do the trick.

Follow the instructions of your diffuser manufacturer.    If you live in a very humid area, you might consider a tea candle diffuser.
